This weekend

It feels like it's been awhile that we've had a nice, easy relaxing weekend - one without the stresses of trying to get too much done, or be in too many places, or have a list of jobs that you know is going to be impossible to achieve with three little girls wanting to play.  But we achieved it this weekend past, and it was so nice and relaxing.

We added a couple more succulents to our little collection on the veranda.

Enjoyed chocolate cake and cups of tea.

Emilia likes to steal the last little bit of tea

Played with dolls, this little one is asleep in her bedroom (the teepee) under an attempt at a patchwork quilt I made when I was about 11.  I think I'd been watching a lot of Little House on the Prarie or Anne of Green Gables and wanted a quilt for myself.

And basically just chilled out.

We even got all organised on Sunday and made some muffins for Matilda's kindy lunchbox because I was bored giving her the exact same lunch box contents every day.  Turns out she likes the same contents every day and doesn't like the muffins.  Ohh well.

On a completely unrelated matter.. Craft night made it's 2013 debut in the past week and we ate Japanese.  In the search for a suitable desert I came across a recipe for Green Tea Creams in an old Delicious magazine.  Really yum, and a great ending to an Asian kind of meal.

And just because she's cute and growing up really quickly.
