mulberry picking

As we often do on a Sunday, we had lunch at granny and pa's house today.  

After lunch the girls went mulberry picking in granny's backyard.  This isn't advisable when wearing good clothes, especially if they're white - I've currently got Polly's tshirt sitting with green mulberries smooshed on it hoping they will remove the stains.  Matilda was selling her 'marberries' for 3 pounds each... who knows where she picked that up, although I suspect it might have something to do with Peppa Pig.

They are very yummy though.  Especially if you turn them into mulberry and apple crumble.

 

I am not ready for a new week to begin yet.
