Like the crazy person I am,I was determined this year that the Easter Egg Hunt would happen as long as I wasn't in hospital having a baby and that the baby was ok. Well, Emilia arrived on time and she's doing well, so we did it.
It was on a slightly smaller scale than last year, but the main thing was it happened and we can still call it an annual event!
We had egg + spoon races and a sack race for which there were prizes (squinkies for the girls and a boy version of squinkies for the boys - we wrapped these up like carrots). And of course, we had the big hunt.
As well as the chocolate, the kids also hunted for Easter colouring-in books and pens, badges and our little bunny tins.
And there was crafting for the kids so they could make these rocking chicks and these paper bunnies. We also had some bunny hand puppet kits that my mum had picked up somewhere.
Emilia even got her dress at the last minute (my cousin sewed on her buttons for me about ten minutes before everyone else arrived). So she could match with her big sisters.
Looking forward to next years!

It looks like you all had a fun day! When we buy a house I want somewhere with a decent backyard so we can start some family traditionS like this. There are 20 people in Coreys family alone so we need space for our family gatherings.
