Christmas Update

I need to take more photos, but - the Christmas Tree is up, we have a few little lights on the outside of our house, I've printed out and made up my free advent calendar.  I'm feeling festive.

And I've crossed another thing off my list of things to make for Christmas.  I made this little box pouch from this fantastic tutorial.  Paired up with some lip gloss and it's a little Christmas present off my list.

Current tally = 19 presents complete and another 5 half way there (out of 29).

No progress has been made on the Santa sacks however.

Decking the halls

The Christmas Tree decorating is currently in progress...

And I've been Christmas shopping.  The tally now stands at 15 completed presents and 7 half presents, of 29.  Things are happening.

I've also been making a santa sack for Matilda (actually I've been making two, I figured I may as well make Number 2 one at the same time), but you can't see them until they're finished - hopefully in the not too distant future.

TMBG Kids, early in the morning

Matilda wakes up pretty early in the morning and we bring her into our bed and read books or play with her a little bit for about 30 minutes before I can bear getting out of bed.

The other morning though we couldn't find a book around the place so G was showing her some Wiggles on you tube on his mobile which led us to an amazing discovery (if you have kids anyway).  TMBG Kids video podcasts... they crack me up.  I love They Might Be Giants and these podcasts are great.  Matilda loves them too.

I think I might need to buy some of the kids DVDs.

I guess some people might find it all a bit weird though?  Oh well, I love.
