With Matilda and in a home of our own. We had a great day and also lots of fun in the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas - baking (choc chip cookies with candy canes crushed on top), shopping, wrapping and decorating.
We made Reindeer Food (rolled oats mixed with glitter) for Matilda's cousin J for him to leave out on Christmas Eve for hungry Rudolpher, Dasher etc

I finally made some soft Christmas Trees using the pattern from here, I've been planning on doing this for 3 Christmases now so I'm glad I finally did it.

We picked up our living Christmas Tree (QLD style) and decorated it, Matilda got her own decoration from her Aunty who spoils her way too much.
Matilda opened her Christmas presents from G's family on Christmas Eve after we went to Christmas Carols (wearing a completing embarrassing suit that she's going to hate me for when she's older) as we do when we're celebrating with the Chileans in Melbourne.
Checked out the stocking filled with goodies (bowls, spoons, rusks etc because we've just started on solids) on Christmas morning.

We had breakfast and Christmas lunch in our house with my family. Homemade cinnamon scrolls are becoming a Christmas breakfast tradition, so yum.
Matilda played with her many new toys, this one from her Brisbane Grandparents, this is great she'll happily play in this thing for about 30 minutes at a time... long enough to get some dishes clean or some laundry done anyway.
I hope your day was lovely too.
