I love cookbooks and I always have a bunch of them on my list waiting to be bought. This is my latest purchase, bought at the after Christmas sales this year. It has such beautiful photographs and lots of stories about traveling around Turkey sampling all the food. It's G's birthday on Sunday and we're having a barbeque lunch for the occasion, I think it will have to have a bit of a middle Eastern flavour and I think I'll have to test out a couple of recipes from here.
I've been a bit bugged with middle Eastern cooking lately, so this will go well with my other cookbooks that have a few Moorish inspired recipes in them - Arabesque, Forever Summer, a different Arabesque and Cocina Nueva which admittedly is Spanish but there are some similiarities going on.
